The Munich Art District „Kunstareal“

The Kunstareal Munich brings together 16 museums and exhibition venues, more than 40 galleries and cultural institutions, and six renowned universities – all located within walking distance of each other in the heart of the city. On this guided architecture tour through the Kunstareal, we present the area’s architectural highlights, explain key urban planning concepts, and explore the historical layers that shape this unique and dynamic cultural landscape.
