We are a qualified team of local architects, urban planners, and architecture journalists with extensive experience in Munich’s contemporary architecture and urban development.

2. Who are ga-munich tours designed for?

Our architecture tours are aimed at professional groups, associations, cities, municipalities, and all architecture enthusiasts – from experts to interested laypeople. We offer tailor-made tours that provide exciting insights and well-founded knowledge, suitable for both professionals and beginners.

3. In which languages are the tours offered?

Our tours are available in German, English, Spanish, French, and Italian.

4. How long do the tours last?

We offer tours of different lengths: from 1.5-hour building tours to half-day and full-day tours, as well as multi-day architecture excursions.

5. Where do the tours start and how do I recognize the guide?

The starting point varies depending on the tour and is specified in the program. Your guide will be waiting there with a black A3 folder. Before the tour, you will also receive the guide’s mobile number for last-minute arrangements. We also kindly ask for the mobile number of a contact person on your side in case we need to reach you.

6. Are the tours suitable for people with limited mobility?

We are happy to check the possibilities for you! Please let us know in advance so that we can ensure the chosen tour is barrier-free and easily accessible.

7. Are the tours conducted with audio guides?

Audio guides can be provided upon request. For groups of up to 20 people, tours can also take place without audio guides. For groups larger than 20, we provide audio guides or split the group.

8. What happens in case of rain?

Our walking architecture tours take place in all weather conditions – please make sure to dress appropriately.

For our bike tours, we coordinate with you one week before the date. If the weather forecast is unfavorable, we will organize an alternative means of transport to ensure your tour remains comfortable and informative.

9. Are interior visits included in the tours?

We do our best to include interior visits, depending on the route and schedule. Since many visits require prior permission, we can only request them after the official booking of the tour. Of course, we will inform you in advance about any possible additional costs.

10. What are public tours?

Our public architecture tours also give individuals the opportunity to gain fascinating insights into architecture and urban development. These tours take place regularly and are ideal for anyone wishing to join without a group.

Yes! We are happy to create a tailor-made program specifically adapted to your interests. Let us know which projects you find particularly exciting, and we will design a tour according to your preferences.
