Prinz-Eugen-Park in the north-east of Munich offers an attractive environment with 1,800 apartments for around 4,000 residents. The model timber settlement is located in the southern section of the area. With a total of eight buildings and 570 apartments, all built out of wood or a timber hybrid structure, this settlement is the largest coherent wooden building settlement in Germany. The innovative project, funded by the city of Munich, sets
new standards in ecological construction. This model settlement aims to contribute to climate protection and sustainable urban development.
